Our current opportunities
The Technical Customer Support Engineer position spans over several areas to support the COO department in achieving the operational and customer success goals for Blue C Mobile. The key responsibility areas for the position:

Monitor, maintain, support and troubleshoot global maritime VSAT networks via RF analysis and out-of-band management connections, including remote commissioning of vessels and proactively action suspected issues

Track, monitor and validate network maintenance activities
-
Monitor and troubleshoot network and infrastructure issues with our vendors and customers
-
Contribute to development and enhancement to BCM products and services
-
Provide remote support after hours as a part of our rotating on-call schedule

Define tools, features, processes and training to make BCM support recognized as the best in class over time – contribute to implementation

Support our customers in the field as and when required

Monitor remotes on network and proactively action suspected issues

Troubleshoot network issues with our vendors and customers

Monitor and maintain BCM infrastructure

Manage maintenance notifications and tasks

Contribute to development and enhancement to BCM products

Provide technical training to customers and BCM employees

We’re looking for a results-driven Sales Hunter with excellent interpersonal skills to actively seek out and engage customer prospects. This candidate needs to be energetic, outgoing, proactive, creative and meticulous with outstanding selling and networking skills.
Key responsibilities:

Manage sales towards a defined group of customers, prospect new customers to meet and exceed stated sales goals within a defined region or customer segment

Build and sustain relations to prospects and customers in the relevant markets

Skilled at generating your own leads through cold calling, blitzing, research, networking, and driving your territory

Present the company and sell its products and services for customers and prospects
-
Prepare offers and specifications based on customer needs
-
Conduct negotiations and close/renew contracts for new and existing customers
-
Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction, coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
-
Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
